Frontier Airline is all set on its new expansion plan with 6-route new sectors that it will touch upon. Most of these routes are amongst the most sought after budget getaways especially popular amongst Americans. The airline is one of the most popular ones amongst the “ultra low-cost carriers” that serves around 80 destinations through the US and flies to 6 other international destinations and has a codeshare arrangement with Mexican’s low-cost carrier; Volaris; a route which the airline is planning to concentrate on more intensely now and planning to serving solo. It will soon add 2 new extensions to the most popular Mexican beaches.

The new decision comes in wake of its counterparts; the Spirit and Allegiant Airlines that are also counted as forerunners amongst the ultra low-cost flyers and have their own plans to take more from the market pie including a relatively less popular Sun Country Airlines that is already serving cheap nonstop flights to over 35 destinations that includes popular tropical beach destinations for vacationers like the Caribbean’s, Mexico and Costa Rica.
Frontier Airlines operates flights to around 80 destinations throughout the US and flies to six international destinations. It also has a codeshare with Mexican low-cost carrier Volaris, a rout which is all set to get 2 new extensions covering popular beaches in Mexico.
The carrier will add 2 sectors each in the group of 3 routes planned. Here’s what they have in the offing –
Frontier will fly to Harlingen – Texas (Valley International Airport.) from both Denver International Airport and Chicago O’Hare. Harlingen is in far south Texas and 45 miles west of the popular Texas beach destination of South Padre Island and is located about 20 miles north of the Mexican border.
From Las Vegas to Cancun & Cabos San Lucas, Mexico – The second set of route which the airline is going to add is from Las Vegas to Cancun which is a luxurious paradisal beach destination; a playground of Native American spring breakers popular for its sparkling crystal waters and squalling white sand.
The other destination served from Las Vegas will be to the Cabos San Lucas, Mexico which is a wonderful oasis surrounded by white sandy beaches, and has many nightclubs making it an ideal romantic getaway. These two seasonal routes to Mexico will begin this winter. Frontier will be the only U.S. airline catering to these Mexican routes from Las Vegas.
The last of the six routes announced by Frontier will each connect a cold-weather northern city to a warm-weather destination during its winter schedule. Among these are the flights between Chicago O’Hare and Palm Springs, California which is known for its popular hiking trails fused with a breathtaking desert scenery that is going to start from Dec. 14th, and the other one being Philadelphia being connected nonstop to Sarasota which is renowned for world famous white sandy beaches with extends for miles in Florida.
